New Hope Community Church
Vicki Twinning and Nicole Anderson are inviting you to a gift card shower. What's a gift card shower? Well, it's kind of like it sounds...we shower them with Gift Cards instead of gifts. Now, it's not that Jeff & Sarah don't like opening gifts - they do. What they don't look forward to doing is packing up and movin...g all of those wonderful items a week or two after Sarah gives birth.
Come on moms, you can certainly sympathize - and dads, how would you feel about having to do that all alone? See? How much easier for them both to box up some gift cards, stick them in the glove compartment and away they go! Seriously, it's just my attempt to make things a little easier for them down the road. I hope you don't mind. They suggested cards for the following stores, since they are larger and likely to be stores wherever they end up: Target, Meijer, WalMart,ToysRUs - and of course, Visa (I added that myself).
We're having a Pizza Buffet and Salad Bar for dinner. Maybe play a game or two - maybe not :-) But the most important thing for you to know is that they would love for each of you to be there, spend some time, laugh with them, and make some more memories before they depart for ........???????? Seriously, you are important to Jeff and Sarah, and they'd love it if you'd spend that evening with them.
If you have any questions, please let me know. And - again - I ask for mercy regarding the late notice. Nicole and I are planning or organizing: a wedding shower, bachelorette party, baptism celebration and a baby shower...all happening next Saturday, Sunday or Monday. Don't know how that happened, but it did - so I'm pedaling as fast as I can.
