Not since the Colts lost to Henry Clay 20-7 in the 1981 Class4-A final have they battled for a state crown. They earned their latest chance by knocking off previously undefeated Prestonsburg 33-28 Friday night in a 2-A semifinal at Southern High School.

DeSales High School (Louisville, KY) Tickets for the state semifinal football game against Prestonsburg will go on sale Friday morning at DeSales from 10:00 am to 12 noon. Tickets are $6 (12 and over) and $3 (under 12). Tickets will also be available at the gate before the game. Kickoff is 7:30 PM Friday at Southern High School.
