Jeremy Spaulding I have a question about book requests. Currently, if a book is at the Newburg branch you can not request it. Is this going to change soon? My local branch is on Westport Road, and I would rather not drive to Newburg.

Right now Newburg has a very small collection and we didn't want the shelves to empty out as books flew out the door due to requests. Plus, we want folks to come down and see the new branch! To answer your question, it is not a permanent situation - at some point you will be able to put a hold on a book that belongs to Newburg, but we are not yet... See More sure when that will be. Possibly not until the collection is a bit larger. In the meantime, if we only own one copy of the book you need, and it's only at Newburg, you can (as you mentioned) drive to Newburg - or it's possible that we might be able to order a second copy.
