We will have a potluck supper at 6:15 PM, and services at 7:30 PM.

As a special treat, the Meeting House Ringers , a bell choir from the UU church in Chelmsford, will join forces with TEMV''s own choir and the congregation's voices to create a musical event of unparalleled proportions.

The Metnicks thoroughly enjoyed the Tosca Encore at Showcase Cinemas in Lowell on October 28, courtesy of Metropolitan Opera Live in HD Series. Join us for Aida, on November 11. Full schedule is available at http://www.ncm.com/Fathom/LiveEvents/MetLive09_10Series.aspx. Tickets $15 for seniors, $18 for all others. A won...derful way to fall in love with opera. What could be better, other than going to a live performance, than having a front row seat in a comfortable chair in a venue with a great sound system?
The Rabbi and I try to get there half an hour early to eat supper and shmooze before the curtain goes up. See you there!

Temple Emanuel of the Merrimack Valley wishes everyone chag sameach for Sukkot. As it happened, our web site decided to take a short rest for the holiday, i.e. it was offline for a few hours. But the problem has been resolved, and it's back to normal again.

Rosh Hashanah, our New Year, encourages us to look in two directions at once. While our natural focus is forward, toward our hopes and aspirations for the year to come, we are also called upon to review the year just ended.
