Lucas Oil Products My favorite fix: Transmission slips.. time for a new rig... Ok, give it here. Change the Tranny filter, drain and FLUSH the fluid. Refill making sure you add 2 quarts of Lucas Oil Transmission FIX. I've had about an 80% success rate (4 out of 5) with this method on vehicles people had given up on. The ONE it didn'...t work on had 172K+ miles with NO tranny change EVER. There was about 2 inches of 'silt' in the pan. (Ford Windstar). It shifted ok, just not as good as it should.
