Video of the week---Returns April 2 11:12am

So I have been slacking off and not putting up a video of the week. I apologize for that from the bottom of my heart. This week's video is from a band that seems to be a favorite of our listeners. Hawk Nelson's newest cd entitled "Hawk Nelson is My Friend" was released yesterday and so I thought it would be appropriate to feature their first single off of that album and the number 2 song according to our 90.9 Top 30 charts..that song is of course, "Friend Like That". Here is the video...let me know what you think!

Hey!! you guys rock!!! i used to live in lynchburg, always seemed to call in and win something.. from tee shirts, to posters, to CD's!! I just thought i would drop this and say thanks for the "listen live" thing on the site. I moved to SOuth Korea, and now i can STILL listen to the best radio station ever!!!!!

hey i think you guys are UH-maxinG!! i've listened to the radio station like since i was like 13 and i think it's great!!
It's just one thing....there's this song that i don't really agree w/. The song is entitled "Madi Don't Leave" by Play Radio Play....The entire song is talking about a guy wanting to run away with this girl named Madi. I just don't think that's an appropriate song. It's a bad example for other teenagers. But other than that one song, I like your station a lot!! Just please take my comments into consideration! thanx and have a nice day!

Wow, looks like the old 90.9fm "mountain" logo Shawn Andrews and I designed back in 1998 has been replaced. Ten years is a good run, I'd say... I do miss those old college radio days. Good work guys! Keep it up.

The Light is a Top 40 College Christian radio station. We play Christian Modern Rock, Hip Hop and R&B as well as other popular Christian songs in our regular rotation. We broadcast from the campus of Liberty University and students produce the majority of our broadcast day. In addition to our regular music programming we also air specialty music shows, newscasts, sports and Liberty Campus Church Services.
