A great organization that helps people in dire need around the world. We learned about them after the Indonesian tsunami disaster many years ago. Pharmaceutical companies donated upward of $400 million (yes, that is million) worth of drugs for this organization to areas around the world. These efforts by MAP will never be trumpeted in the media, because that is not what organizations like these are all about.

Nice to see the images of your journey partners. It would be great to hear others comments on your journey also Michael. Maybe a word of the day from some people on what they felt and heard? Sights, sounds, smells?

Sunday I don't know whether the worship service or the health clinic seemed like the most dynamic ministry of Yopougon Assemblies of God Church. Probably it was both. Jesus said his mission was to preach and to heal. That is the same mission of this church...

Saturday Two days ago we were in a very remote - and very poor - village. The road was a series of ruts and holes. Electricity was no where to be found. Water came from one well. Latrines were hard to come by. Today we were at the well-manicured Abidjan Golf Club...

What a stark contrast in conditions, but how wonderful that MAP plays a role in bridging that gap. This is the beauty of partnerships like the one between MAP and the Rotary Club of Brunswick. Way to go, Meredith!!!
