Delightful new music brings Ebenezer Scrooge to life in this musical adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic tale "A Christmas Carol—The Musical". Relive the lessons of the spirits of Christmas past, present and future as they show him the error of his ways. A Christmas Carol is a hopeful affirmation of the good in ever...yone.
UNCLE JIM'S STRAIGHT SCOOP: Talk the little ones through the plot and remind them that the scary ghosties are really the good guys. Christmas color, singable tunes and a few innocent scares—"A Christmas Carol" is great for anyone who loves the holidays—I hope that includes you.

UNCLE JIM'S STRAIGHT SCOOP: The younger kids may miss some of the subtleties of the story, but the occasional near-slapstick fun and a couple of child leads should hold their interest. This is a beautiful show. I don’t know why we waited so long—19 years—to bring it back.

Large, ethnically diverse cast needed.
ADULTS: Strong male and female actors, singers and dancers ages 16 and up.
CHILDREN: A couple roles for children ages 8-10. (Children will audition with adults from 1-6. No one under age 8 please.
Rehearsal will begin shortly after auditions. Performance dates will be: October 22-25, 28-November 1, 2009.
