Well with a name like McFail, hes bound to... well.... you know... But please don't acquire Roberts.

The only way the cubs will get Roberts is if they give McFail the best freekin pitching prospects! He knows the cubs system really well and I dont think Hendry will fleece McFail that easily. However, Hendry should consider giving up Ceda along with Veal, Patterson, and Cedeno. If that doesn't work, then he should just give up on getting Roberts. What I want the Cubs to do is to save the pitching prospects for a better deal down to midseason for a number three pitcher.

I don't think Soriano at the two spot has anything to do with the cubs trying to land Roberts. Keep in mind the cubs are being cautious about Soriano's health, but what I would like to see is Soriano hitting at the four spot and Fukudome hitting at the two spot. Let Aram hit at the five spot because I dont think Aram needs that much protection in the lineup. Also, i think Soriano needs more protection than Aram (Aram did a solid job hitting at the four spot last year with the mediocre-decent hitters from the 5-8 spot).

Great site by the way!! I started looking at it for the first time about amonth ago and I have become addicted. One question: do you think Lou Pinella moving/trying Soriano in the two hole has anything to do with the Cubs' attempts to land Brian Roberts?
