I would suggest that you take a piece of track to the hardware store and see what looks best to you. I would recommend a flat head screw, so screw will be flush with road bed.

Carl Dave Hikel ScaleTrax Layout Packages

At p. 133 of the current catalog (2010, vol. 1) you offer "Dave Hikel Layout packages." The catalog says "For details and track plans, click the ScaleTrax logo at the bottom of the M.T.H. home page . . ." Unfortunately, upon doing so no "details and track plans" are revealed. That fa...ct leads to my question: does the layout package include a description of the benchwork and materials needed?

From what I am told the package contains both ScaleTrax and Realtrax pieces that you use to build layout. It also has MTH Accessories to build scenes with. It is in many ways a "mapping" tool for building your layout.

John Korling Well, the Cal-Stewart train meet came & went. Too bad MTH and most of the other major players didn't or couldn't attend. We hobbyists on the west coast just don't feel the love sometimes. Oh well, had a pretty good time, always like visiting Pasadena, was the first time my father was able to attend, and at least I foun...d an MTH Premier SD70ACE at a seller's booth that I had to have. Great looking engine.

Sorry John, MTH was at the World's Greatest Hobby on Tour in Puyallup, WA. this past weekend. MTH and the The World's Greatest Hobby on Tour will be at the Long Beach Convention Center, Long Beach, California on February 13 & 14, 2010. Sounds like Cal-Stewart was fun hope to see you in February.

I've seen your booth at the WGH when it came to the San Diego Del Mar Fairgrounds last year. Very good show overall. Just found it odd that the major players would be absent since Cal-Stewart is considered the biggest train meet west of the Mississippi.
