Barfoot is a 90 year-old veteran of three wars who has been told he has to take down his flag pole because of his homeowner's asociation-even though there is no clause addressing flagpoles in the contract! From the Richmond Times-Dispatch: "Barfoot received the Medal of Honor on the battlefield during World War I......I in Italy and fought as well in the Korean and Vietnam wars. A portion of a highway in rural Mississippi, his native state, was named in his honor this fall. A building at McGuire Veterans Hospital in Richmond also carries his name."

Our Flag Here's Gov't Health care for Veterans: Because of the severe weather we have here, I requested to have a home generator installed for when I have to go on a ventilator. The VA responded, "Where's the closest Fire Dept?" In severe wx, at 1am, after my wife takes care of myself and our son all day, she's supposed to driv...e us all to the Fire Dept?

Our Flag I cringe when I hear officials say we are the most powerful nation on Earth. Senator Leahy D-VT seems to think so, and even though I think it's foolish, it is his right. But we owe China $5,000,000 per day interest from the bailout. The Pres. bows to the Saudi King and Japanese Prime Minister. Our Flag bows to another nation? Not the last time I checked.
Our Flag Our Flag represents every single one of us; the nurse, the gas station attendant, the firefighter, the police officer, the soldier, the mother. It signifies who we are and ties us together. Why do we only feel that pride, and anger, when threatened, hurt, or mourning?

Our Flag The Alaska Territorial Guard was formed during WW II to defend against Japanese invasion. They actually defended our nation when the Japenese invaded the Aleutian Islands. Obama has taken away their federal service counting towards a pension, citing they were state employees. WT* Obama just said Native American's have been wronged and deserve more.

Our Flag Probably the most striking image I saw today was on Fox News; a little boy hugging his father's/mother's gravestone. Remembering, as always, those whom have given so much. Remember their families too. God Bless America.

A couple here in Huntsville is flying the Flag upside down due to the House passing the health care bill. Their HOA is sueing. The flag represents the govt and its policies. It also represents the sacrifices made to protect our freedoms. It represents the promise of the Declaration. This bill is in violation of our fre...edom. The HOA is wrong.
Just wait until Obama signs our sovereignty over to the World Gov't in Denmark at the Climate Change Treaty. My Flag will be upside down.

Our Flag Senator's, Congressmen/women, Pres, and Military all swear to support and/or defend the Constitution. They all volunteer. Why then, are military members the only ones held accountable? Good or bad, the military, and their families, are always held accountable, while elected officials do and say whatever they please w/out consequence.
Our Flag Why is it illegal to kill/harm the American Bald Eagle, or even possess a feather, but it's OK to desecrate our Flag?
