Madison Area Chamber of Commerce
There will be “Dancing Among Our Stars” when Madison’s own Doctors Band plays a return engagement at the Chamber’s Annual Dinner on Wednesday, Jan. 27.
The band will perform in the lobby of Hanover College’s Brown Campus Center from 8:30 to 10 p.m., after the business portion of the evening.
The Annual Dinner is sponsore...d by MainSource Bank.
The evening begins with a reception and cash bar from 5:30 to 6 p.m. and continues with dinner served in the main dining room at 6 p.m.
Sue Livers and Bill Potter will share emcee duties.
The climax of the program will be the announcement of two awards: the Jeff Garrett Community Service Award and the Business Service Award. Nominations can be made for these awards by Jan. 8.
Dinner reservations are required; only 350 guests can be accommodated. RSVP by calling (812) 265-3135, Ext. 231 or mailing to 975 Industrial Drive, Madison, IN 47250. Individual tickets are $40 and a table of eight is $280.
There will be no reverse draw this year.

Madison Area Chamber of Commerce Due to high demand, we no longer have tickets available for the Santa Express train ride on Dec. 5. (Unless you have called the Chamber office and reserved them already.) There is a possibility that additional riders can be accommodated at the last minute if there are empty seats on the train. In honor of Madison Founder John Paul's birthday, the Bicentennial Band played and Bicentennial Chairman Jan Vetrhus read a proclamation from the mayor. The wonderful crew at Clifty Inn served a great buffet to the overfl...ow dinner crowd. Entrepreneur Sharon Rivenbark shared her amazing story, then the evening was capped with two awards.
