At many DJ services, you tell them what kind music you like based on genres or decades. They put together a play list with that and the handful of songs you want and don't want played. When it comes to planning your event, you can't rely on the broad definition of genres...
Time is so valuable at this point to how fun your party is going to be. If a guest went to your ceremony, they may have 4 or 5 hours invested in your day already. Last thing we want them to do is get tired during dinner and not stay long during the dance...
So just who is the person doing your wedding or event? This is a two part tip: -If you are using a wedding planner, it's easy to trust who they recommend...
Book me as your DJ and post my contact information to your facebook, myspace, or wedding website. At the very least email my info to your wedding party and best friends so they can contact me. They may think of some special songs or moments along the way that may be great to share at your wedding...
