Our homes and offices support and launch us in much the same way our bodies do. Think of your home as a second skin. And think of Feng Shui as the art of keeping that skin radiantly healthy and spiritually strong. This interactive session will use visuals to illustrate ways to ground yourself in your own homes.
Consider...: When you arrive home, what is your initial feeling? Does your home bring out the best in you? Does it lift your spirits? Do friends end up staying later than they expected? And what constitutes full breathing in a home or office?

Linda Mundt has been practicing Feng Shui throughout the United States since 2004.

Cost: $15.

On Friday, July 23rd Nagindas will teach a class titled: The Sanskrit Names of the Yoga Postures

The names of the yogic techniques come from the ancient Sanskrit language. It's said that the original yogis (Rishis) developed the techniques in thei...r deeply meditative state, and the names were similarly selected for their mythic and metaphorical meanings. The proper pronunciation of the names is reported to enhance the effects, and an understanding of their meaning adds a depth to practice. Please join us for an informative and fun exploration of yoga's ancient roots. You will gain an understanding of Sanskrit pronunciation that will add depth to you yoga practice.

On Friday, July 31st Nagindas will teach a class titled: The Bhagavad Gita - The Foundation of the Yogic Path

It's said that the Bhagavad Gita is the Bible of Yoga. This classic text of India is a rich and colorful exploration of the inner path of Yoga. For those of us familiar with the postures and breathing, developing an understanding of the Gita will deepen the the benefits of the practice. Nagindas will describe the story-arc of the Bhagavad Gita, then read selected sections in their original Sanskrit! In this class, you will gain an understanding of the Yogic path, as well as the rare opportunity to hear sections of the Gita read in the meditative language of Sanskrit.

On Friday, August 7th Nagindas will teach a class titled: The Yoga Sutras - The Roadmap for the Yogic Path

The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali are the roadmap for the Yogic path. These 196 phrases describe the inevitable challenges that arise in life, and describes the path that leads us from where we are to a state of bliss. An understanding of the Yoga Sutras is essential for taking practice to a deeper level. In this class, you'll gain an understanding of the four chapters of the Yoga Sutras, and an in-depth exploration of a handful of sutras most readily applicable to the Hatha Yoga many of us practice.
