The second WORT Halloween Blood Drive will take place on
Monday, November 2nd from 1:00-6:00pm at the station, 118 S. Bedford Street.
The Badger Chapter of the American Red Cross will be on hand with their
brand new vehicle, the "Donor Coach," to collect
blood donations th...roughout the afternoon, and WORT will be on
hand to give out Halloween treats. The day will also feature spooky
Halloween decorations and a continuous screening of the "made in
Madison" comic-horror film BUCKYSTEIN - absolutely free!
How can you help? You can sign-up online for an appointment to donate
blood at <http://lists.wort-fm.org/cgi-bin/hbd/lon
to the WORT home page and scroll down to the dancing blood drop.
If you are unable to donate blood, but want to help in other ways,
contact WORT's volunteer coordinator Glenn Mitroff by e-mail at:
