Maggie Callanan Journeying Home: Hospice of the Red River Valley will host its annual Journeying Home event in two parts.

Hospice nurse Maggie Callanan will share her insight and experiences with patients at the end of life at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 14. This event is free.

A conference titled “Final Gifts, Final Journeys” runs from 8 a.m. to 4 ...p.m. Oct. 15. The registration fee for the conference is $85. Registrations sent by mail must be postmarked before Wednesday.

Final Gifts is a phenomenal book. It certainly helped my family during my father's recent passing. Highly recommend you get this book if you are dealing with the passing of a loved one.
