The Delaware City Schools Music program will entertain in all of your favorite downtown locations on our First, SECOND Friday. Since First Friday lands on New Years Day, we will be celebrating on the SECOND FRIDAY OF JANUARY for our first Friday of 2010!!! Please join us downtown for local music, local shopping, loca...l dining, and start your new year off right. Make sure your New Year's Resolutions involve supporting our local, independent merchants and Main Street Delaware, Inc.
The Delaware Hayes High School Band will be performing with the Dallas Brass on Jan 15th, tickets are available at Beehive Books.

Santa comes to downtown Delaware. Santa will be in his house at 57 N. Sandusky St. from 6-8pm on Friday, December 18th. This night includes carriage rides around downtown, a visit to Santa as well as all the businesses open late for mom and dad to do some shopping. Santa always has a sweet treat for your little ones....
We also have Santa hours on Saturday from 1-3pm. This is the final time for your young ones to sit with Santa. Bring you letters and wishes to downtown Delaware.

The tree is up and awaiting the lighting ceremony. Light a candle and walk downtown December 4th at 7:30pm, lets light the Christmas tree, set it's branches glowing!
First Friday activities begin at 6pm with Delaware Community Chorus Carolers, Delaware Hayes Jazz Band at Nova, Santa House at 57 N. Sandusky St. Join you ...favorite local church for a candle lighting at 7pm and walk to the tree lighting, or follow Santa to the corner of Sandusky and William Streets at 7:30pm where we will join together for some of your favorite carols. Stay downtown and shop local this season, unique gifts that will support our fantastic independent retailers. Make sure to have dinner downtown too, Happy Hour specials in all of your favorite independent, locally owned restaurants!
