The 12th Annual Maine International Film Festival will be held July 10-19, 2009 in Waterville, Maine with a special satellite location in Portsmouth New Hampshire from July 17-19, 2009.

“Things, Goods and Other Public Transactions" Art talk by Patricia Phillips, art critic, editor, curator and Chair of the Art Department at Cornell University
Followed by a cocktail party reception.
FREE and open to the public.

6:30 p.m. Screening of the film Automorphosis... at Railroad Square Cinema (visit www.miff.org for a film description and to buy tickets)
Following the film, join Harrod Blank, Patricia Phillips, and Ester Partegas (Skowhegan School of Art) for a panel discussion on the various forms and impacts of public art. Art cars will be on display in the Railroad Square parking lot.
