Malperduys

Derek Martin Hey every body, we just created this facebook page. There's a lot more of our stuff on myspace and mixpod, but here I did put up one track from March that's not on the other sites and I'll be adding more new material later.

Though rooted in noise and experimental, Malperduys jumps around a lot stylistically and plays w...ith guest musicians often, so if you hear something that doesn't jive with you, keep listening and you may find a track you like. Most people think of it as trippy dreamscape music, sometimes ethereal, soft and pretty and sometimes dark and nightmarish. There are a lot of other moods too. It's just what comes out - none of it's planned and all of it is improv.

Facebook seems like a better way to get the word out than myspace, and I am trying to generate some interest before we start playing out again or perhaps inviting audiences to our loft/studio space for some chill summer bbqs.
