Someone told me “Joel Olsteen smiles too much.” Wow. You try to encourage people & they’ll hate you. Someone asked me if I was a “shock jock.” I dunno. A shock jock says things just to get attention. That’s not what I do. But no matter what you do people will hate you. I’m a man. I’m white.... I’m American. I love America. I go to church. I love my kids. Someone listening was offended by each one of those things I just said. So I know that I know that I know who I am. I just try to do good and let the rest takes care of itself.

I'm not super religious but I love Joel Olsteen. Who could say this about him? He makes me happy when I watch him. His books are uplifting too. He avoids being too preachy and motivates people with a positive message!

so so true, and so so sad that people will indeed get offended at what you wrote, but you wrote the truth and what is right for you. Having the knowledge you have of yourself is only offensive to those who don't know themselves as well. Love and forgiveness is what Jesus preached.. If anyone can change then why do you think that Mancow can't change? He is an anyone right? i can relate ,im planing a state wide tour with my band end of summer / and i try to offer some of the spoils to someone from my home town a pamoter noless who you think whould love to make the money and help build his noterity, i send him several messages with no reply, in a nice profeshinal manner , still no reply / but the second i say ...
