exactly! and to add insult to injury, Elvis, as much as he's to be respected for the artist he was, stole from black people... it's as simple as that. he took songs from black artists or groups that could not and would not get airplay on white radio, and made them his own. it's really no different than what Diddy does with music... takes a '... Read Moresample' and makes it his own, but at least Diddy is more honest about from whence this music came and gives the people their due propers... not sure if Elvis EVER did this with the artists songs he covered...
