SMLI is a not-for-profit science activity center located on Leeds Pond Preserve in Nassau County. We offer enrichment workshops for children year-round. Visitors must preregister for activities. Weekend hours vary based on registration.

Science Museum of Long Island Today's model rocket launch was a success. Everyone launched rockets with A83 engines just before the rain hit... The whole camp counted down for each rocket and cheered as they blasted off to the clouds!
