Jenifer Vick

Jenifer Vick Thanks for coming to Iowa, Marc. It was a pleasure meeting you, hearing you, and experiencing your enthusiasm for life!

William Neely

William Neely Thanks for the podcasts Marc. I had subscribed some time ago, though never really got a chance to listen to any of your compilations. However, since I've started this new job where I'm pretty typing on a computer all day, I've needed something to nourish and refresh my soul and mind. What better to do that than the music of my ancestors? Can't wait for your July podcast to come out. Oh, and I read just a little bit, somewhere, that you are currently in the Midwest. Coming around the St. Louis area any time soon? Thanks again.

Nancy

Nancy I have come to know Hazel Sandlin through facebook, an Irish music club or whatever you would call us all. I have recently discovered Irish music (have lots of Irish heritage) Ultsters that came to USA 1700s. But love, love, love the music and people. I would like to hear your music sometime. Hazel recommends it and your site is one of her favorites, so thought I'd give you a ring (a write). I live in the midwest and you said you were just here with good audiances. Good for you and for us midwesterners. Do you have anything uploaded on youtube so I could hear your music. Thank you.
Nancy

Ben Johnson

Ben Johnson Hey marc I love the show, it always has great music. By the way there's this thing at my school called the student play festival students write, direct, and act in the play. So while listening to your show I got the idea to write a musical using traditional Irish songs, so far I’ve used "the old triangle", "poor paddy works on the rail way", and "the Spanish lady". I'm running out of song ideas, due to the fact that some songs are more of the same and are in passed tense, would you have any suggestions of songs?

Finn D. Kelly

Finn D. Kelly You totally rock, man! Love the podcast!

Marc Gunn

Marc Gunn I'm out and about on the road right now touring through the Mid-West. Shows are going great. Though I noticed I still haven't mentioned my Celtic Invasion Vacations here. Love to see you there. http://www.celticinvasion.com/ . I hope to introduce ones in the U.S. next year.

Kerrie Bergan Thanks so much for your music, podcasts and Songhenge. In the past few years I've enjoyed not only your music but have bought wonderful music by Ceann, the Appalachian Celtic Consort, Nick Hennessey, and others I never would have heard of. Wishing you the best.

Teri Riave

Teri Riave I'm a total fan. I'm a high school teacher in Nor CA. I have those kids you hear about, low socio-economic, woes of all kinds and few enriching life experiences. They live in a Sacramento suburb. Some have never visited the capitol. Going to Disneyland would be like going to Europe for the more fortunate.

Anyway, I wanted my students to hear Celtic music, while we were discussing Irish history and reading excerpts of "Angela's Ashes". I found your music and bought "Songs of Ireland". The first line of "Join the British Army" was enough to capture their attention. Of course, they would never admit it, but they don't tell me to, "turn OFF that music" as they do with say Dylan or Green Day. If you're ever in Nor CA, let me buy you a brew.

I'm bummed that I won't be able to see the Bards in person. I will add a song and link to my facebook so others can become fans.

Thanks, Teri
