CFR Prepares to Serve 1,500 Families at Thanks for Giving 2009 As families prepare for a holiday with loved ones surrounding a Thanksgiving feast, many of our Cobb neighbors must stretch their budgets, making it difficult to afford a Thanksgiving meal for their families...

The Center for Family Resources (CFR) has been providing Thanksgiving boxes to families in need in Cobb County for more than 20 years. CFR is working to preserve family traditions and treasured time together by providing everything each family needs to enjoy a meal at home together.
CFR has seen a 49 percent increase in... need during the first half of 2009 and has set a goal to provide baskets to 1,500 families!
Join us as we collect food! You are encouraged to bring items to help make it happen! The items can include canned fruit or vegetables, dried or canned potatoes, stuffing mix, non-refrigerated pie crust, roasting pans and canned pie fillings.
