SAVE THE DATE!!! Gestalt Haus and MCBC present Crank for the Bank, a bicycle food drive for Marin Community Food Bank
Saturday, Dec. 19 Noon – 3 pm
Meet at the Fairfax Cyclery parking lot at 2020 Sir Francis Drake Blvd. with your bike (cargo bikes welcome), a large messenger bag, backpack, panniers or trailer; and $15 - ...$30 cash. You will be given a list of stores and items to collect for the Marin Community Food Bank.
Head out by yourself or with a group, round up the supplies, and head back to Fairfax's Gestalt Haus for prizes! Prizes will be awarded to those who finish first and those who bring in the most stuff. There will be other prizes awarded, so everyone has a chance of winning something!
Our sponsors are donating some great prizes, including the grand prize, a stylish Dominican fixie bicycle from Marin Bikes!

Learn to ride safely in all road conditions at the next FREE Basic Street Skills class on Thursday, July 10. Find out:
• how to be safe and enjoy riding the roads in your town
• how to avoid bicycle traffic tickets and the fines that go with them
• why and when cyclists “take the lane”
• how to make yourself more visible a...nd predictable
• your rights and responsibilities on the road
Cyclists aged 16 and up are invited to participate. A bicycle is not necessary, unless you plan to ride one to the class. Advance registration is necessary. Register for a class by providing your name, address, email, phone, and class date in one of the following ways: on-line, faxing to 415-456-9344, calling the Marin County Bicycle Coalition at 415-456-3469 ext. 7#, or emailing streetskills@marinbike.org.
The July class will be taught by Chris Davis, a League of American Bicyclists’ Certified Instructor.

Marin County Bicycle Coalition Come to the Marin County Fair on a bike and you stay lean while the earth stays clean. Marin County Bicycle Coalition volunteers will be on hand to offer free valet parking for bicycles from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. near the Main Gate.
