Fairday is an annual event on the SpringOut calendar. it provides an opportunity get out and learn about what's happening in the LGBT community. Get information from community stall holders, buy some great christmas presents from LGBT friendly businesses.

Fairday, this Saturday

This year we have over 40 stall holders and loads of entertainment for you.

12.00 event starts

12 -30pm Fairday is opened by Andrew Barr

12- 40pm Canberra Gay and Lesbian Qwire performs

1-00pm Drag show. With MC Raine Ingmenn, with performances by Raine Ingmenn, and Drag Idol winners Anita Lay and Mr Green Teal.

1-30pm Information/seminar by the Gay and Lesbian Liaison Officers.

2-00pm Annual Pet Competition. Hosted by the kings Hush comedy, Johnno and Morgan.

2-30pm Financial Planning information session conducted by Scott Malcolm from Money Mechanics.

3-00pm Adelaide Jones – Local performer will play us a few tunes.

3-00pm Children’s Treasure Hunt.

3-30pm Free Yoga Class. Being conducted by Gregory Barnes.

3-30pm The Adam Hole and Marji Curran Band will perform.
3-30pm Raffle Draw

Bangladesh hey...you guys gonna do Here Comes The Sun?

Marji CurranScaramouche(local Canberra Band) is discovering that there are far more important things in life than cheese on toast. We have joined the ranks of the worlds fight against povety and are setting up gigs here in the A.C.T to help educate children in struggling countries, our first goal is to build a school for 300 children in bangladesh, the charity in question is called, CO-ID and has been run by Fred Hyde for many years. They are a well established honest charity which has no religious conatations. check it out at
