My track "Tinglegroove" has a direct correlation to the feel of Winter's playing
on his song "Musicione". I also did a cover of his song "Heaven Only Moved Once
Yesterday" on a 9/11 Tribute compilation. Another tie in: my song "Graveyard" is based on my reaction to recollections
Bill Wallace shared with me about Kurt... the first time when Bill and I met here
in Cleveland in 2001.

Mark Chadbourne Kurt had such a punk attitude when he was pulled out of Brother by Cummings to join the Guess Who and wore the same striped pants and ripped sweatshirt for the first year after he joined. Apparently, he thought his success was tied into the clothes or something. If you check out the Guess Who album covers, you'll see... his "threads". Here's one of Winter's definitive performances All Hashed Out from 1973.
