After having many informative conversations with student leaders and activists in recent weeks regarding lobbying efforts toward the UC Board of Regents, I have come to the conclusion that there is a fundamental flaw with the approach.

I was extremely heartened by the letter below from Chancellor Linda Katehi to members of the UC Davis community. She has perfectly captured what's at stake and the role that all friends of UC can have in our newly launched UC for CA campaign...
