- It was in 1902 that the Marmite Food Company (later Marmite Ltd) was set up in Burton on Trent. Our mission, then as now, was to share the joy of Marmite-eating and make it available to all those with excellent taste.
Andrea Egg mayonaise and marmite sandwiches!! I was given them for school dinners by my Mum and have always loved them! On the other days I had cheese and marmalade! I guess taste is inherited!!

Angela Jane Peach i remember a terrible terrible day-had my toast all buttered and picked my little friend up....only to find previous person hadn't replaced her lid....she fell and smashed on the floor...awful, the carnage, the mess...the pain??? i now buy the plastic bottle and live with a marmite hater!! (more for me!!!)
Azmi Anshar Paste a stretch of marmite on bread, stick it with half slice of Kraft cheese and chunks of butter. or bread with butter, chunky peanut butter and marmite. or with a bit of sandwich spread.
