You can help us kick off a NEW ERA in COUGAR football by being a part of MARTIN STADIUM RISING!!!
Calling all COUGS -- Come and meet WSU President Elson Floyd and Athletic Director Jim Sterk.
This will be the second series of Town Halls conducted by the Cougar Athletic Depart...ment along with some Cougar Legends. This series of Town Halls will not only cover the Martin Stadium renovation, but expand its focus on Cougar Athletics in its entirety. WSU President Elson S. Floyd and other special Cougar celebrity guests will be joining the program.
Complimentary refreshments will be provided.
The Town Halls are open to the general public and walk-ups are welcome; however, RSVP s are appreciated to Michelle Lipsker at the WSU Athletic Foundation at mlipsker@wsu.edu.

Open forums on Phase III of the Martin Stadium Renovation, featuring Director of Athletics Jim Sterk and members of the WSU Athletic Foundation staff, will be held from late October to early November throughout the state of Washington and in Portland.
On Sept. 22, the public launch of the third phase of the Martin Stadi...um Renovation project was announced. Phase III involves the construction of luxury suites, loge boxes, and club seats atop the north stands.
Once 80 percent of premium seats have been committed, the construction of Phase III will begin. Phase III will be completed by the 2012 football season; however, if premium seat sales and fundraising benchmarks are met by Dec. 18 of this year, construction can begin sooner, and Phase III could be completed in time for the 2011 season.

Martin Stadium Rising!!! Cougs filed a room at the Bellevue Hyatt tonight to hear about Martin Stadium Phase III. The group included Cougar Great Jack Thompson and alumni and friends ranging in age from 25 to 75. We sold 40 charter seats ON THE SPOT! There will be many more sold in the next couple of days based on commitments made tonight. ...Now that's how Cougs step up! There are more Town Halls to come - tomorrow (11/4) in Tacoma.
