- We were just trying to make an unbreakable golf tee. But in field tests in Florida in 2008, people kept telling me the ball was going farther and straighter. At first I thought they were just trying to be nice. But when more and more people said it, it seemed like we were on to something. So we had an independent laboratory use computer-controlled robot drivers to test our tees vs. wood tees, and they DID result in longer, straighter drives. Now we’re selling them.
