The Spanish inventor Pep Torres from the studio Stereonoise, who also created the flowerpot that automatically rolls your plants into the sunlight, has thought up a vending machine that only dispenses the snacks once you have burned enough calories.
Marty's Reliable Cycle
There is nothing better than getting a bicycle for the Holiday. Actually there is! Getting a pair of his and her bicycles!
These two bicycles were quite different when we started, but ended up looking like quite the couple! The ladies bike is a Matsuri, made by Nissan in Japan from the late 70s or early 80s. The men...s bike is a Legnano made in Italy in the 60s.
Both bikes are lugged steel and both bikes used to be "ten speeds." Both bikes are now outfitted with old Shimano 3 speed internally geared hubs with coaster brakes. The Matsuri has a brand new Brooks B18 Ladies saddle with embossed flower design. The Legnano has a brand new Brooks B68 "pre-aged" saddle. Both bikes have brand new Wald baskets (made in USA!). Both bikes have front and rear Velocity Deep V Rims and Specialized tires. Both bikes have old Campy headsets and old Sugino Cranks.
