Kayaking in Virginia along this island is so cool... See lots of Wild Ponies and more... The kayaking tour is great. See the ponies in their natural environment. They have their foals mostly from April - Sept. Over 300 wild ponies live along the 37 mile island which is protected by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service an...d National Park Service. Trisha Ferko Dean only 8 months till july--my favorite summer fun month!!!!

Robert Holsapple Hot steamed Blue crabs, Old Bay, Crabcakes, Stuffed Rockfish, Wye River crab soup, Wye River cream of crab, garden fresh Beefsteak tomatoes, fresh cucumbers in vinegar, Silver Queen corn, Eastern Shore cantaloupes, chilled watermelon, MD fried chicken, Polock Johnny's sausage, Chincoteague oysters, Smith Island cake = Maryland cuisine.... Anyone have something to add? I'm sure there's more.

Lisa I am lucky enough though that a shrimp vendor comes out here every few months and I'm able to get fresh jumbo shrimp. But...no crabs.

Lisa I miss my crabs! ....What I would do, for even a decent crab cake! :-o

Colette Summer, Sun , Corona ,and Old Bay Blue Crabs

Tim Youssef One of life's true pleasures!

Cindy McGhee Butterbaugh A bushel of hot, steaming, Old Bay caked crabs. No mallets at our house--used the handle of a butter knife back then. On the screened porch: pick a few, run and hop in the pool, run back and pick a few more, and back to the pool. The sting of the Old Bay on my fingers never hurt so good...

Brad Carpenter Blue Crabs Bro!

Paul Henry I'm About 4hrs away from Maryland. Any ideas on where's a good place to go and what time of year a guy can catch a bucket full?
