Astro 3 Theatre The Blind Side starts on Friday, December 4. This sports drama is the Sandra Bullock movie based on the book which is based on the true story of Michael Oher as he grows up to become an NFL player. This movie broke the box office record for a sports drama opening weekend and is Sandra Bullocks best opening weekend, beating out The Proposal.

Astro 3 Theatre Bad news about the Tuesday@5 movie this week. It will not be here in time for the Tuesday@5 show on December 1. Beginning December 8 the movie Joyeux Noël will play at 5 PM on Tuesdays throughout December. This is based on the true story of the World War I Christmas truce. It was an Academy Award nominee for the best foreign language film in 2005.

Astro 3 Theatre Old Dogs started on the day before Thanksgiving. This movie stars Robin Williams and John Travolta. Unlike so many movies the previews do not show all the funny parts and spoil all the jokes. It's a good comedy for the whole family.

Astro 3 Theatre New Moon is in the second week here. It will stay for one more week. It is in the 56-seat auditorium so there is not a huge number of seats but they are much more comfortable for such a long movie than the seats in the 200 seat auditorium.

Astro 3 Theatre Planet 51 is in the last week here. It's a very funny animated adventure. I think is suits pretty much everyone. It's fun for the kids and smart for the adults. The last night for it is this Thursday at 7 & 9. I'll give a free small popcorn to anyone buying a ticket for either showing that night.

Astro 3 Theatre Wow! What a week and a half. New Moon has been doing great since it opened and so has Old Dogs. I feel like I haven't had a chance to sit down in all that time.
Astro 3 Theatre My phone system fuzzed out on me this afternoon. I apologize for not noticing it. If you have tried to call me then go ahead and give it a try now. Astro 3 Theatre I talked with the credit card people and they are getting hammered by people all over the nation trying to get New Moon tickets. Astro 3 Theatre Nobody has been getting confirmation email for online ticket purchases. I found out that I had not filled out the email info correctly on the ticket computer so it could not send them. I just bought a ticket online and got my email confirmation right away so it looks like it is fixed.
Astro 3 Theatre If you are coming to the midnight show of New Moon you can get begin to take your seats at about 11:20.
Astro 3 Theatre I've set up extra seating in the back of the auditorium so people that want that old raised seating feel can sit there.
Astro 3 Theatre New Moon is at 6:50 and 9:30 daily with Sunday matinees at 12:50 and 3:30.
