To all my Soon to Be First Time Homebuyers:

I graduated from the program last august and is now in the works of closing on a beautiful 2 family in Randolph. Using the knowledge i gained from MAHA and some of their resources, I was referred to Ronald Baker (Senior Inspector) @ Advanced Building Inspectors. Please beware... as the man is unreliable, unprofessional just does enough until he gets your money, once he has that he's M.I.A. Next resource that i used was a mortgage specialist by the name of Delores Adighibe from Bank of America in Grove Hall. I was applying for a pre-approval. Ms. Adighibe took my information and told me she would get back to me in two weeks. She never did but when I finally got a hold of her she told me I couldn’t get approved. She was very unprofessional and unreliable. I took my business to a different branch and that same day got a pre-approval. (For more details pls do not hestiate to msg me).

So Please be aware, Do your own research and Good Luck!

Massachusetts Affordable Housing Alliance (MAHA) Michelle Crockett, one of our Homebuyer Counselors, presented lucky raffle winner and MAHA graduate Jean Ronald Jocelin of Hyde Park with 4 tickets to the Boston Red Sox game played on September 28th. The tickets were donated by Savings Bank Life Insurance, a long time supporter of MAHA’s homebuyer education programs.

We never stick to only the local banks in our expectation that banks with a presence in MA need to be offering the Soft Second Mortgage product. MAHA sees it as the best, most stabilizing mortgage available in MA and we want to see every bank benefiting from being in the Commonwealth participate.

If banks keep buying each other there won't be any local banks. If a bank is doing business in MA and accepting deposits then they should be meeting the all the credit needs of its depositors.
