Indeed, how often have you (have I !) blurted out a comment to someone without really thinking it through, without really thinking of the consequences. "Thinking before you speak" helps you calm down and consider the larger picture -- this is especially important when you're going to talk about a disagreement or problem.

It means to listen to the other person by putting yourself in their place -- imagining that your ARE that person and having their experience -- feeling their emotions, seeing through their eyes. Listening in this way gets you to a place of deep understanding and empathy for the other person. This skill is at the heart of MML.

and, rest assured, that just got a whole lot easier through trainings like MML. Now then whatever your situation, this is a topic you just CANNOT, NEVER, EVER!, neglect. GOT IT?

What makes you so sure that your marriage is going to last?
- Faith? YOUR faith???
- Luck? Then... GOOD luck!
- Wishful thinking? NOW we're talking! We're up to something there!

MML opened my eyes to my reality as nobody and nothing else did in the last 20 years! You know the thing with the bones and the flesh ... So then, if the bones are too hard on you, and now the flesh is oh so hard, too, sure we're up to something here ...
JUST DO IT, you cannot die attending, but you might otherwise.

Remember the word that truth is more often than not hard to receive? Now then, take heart, and know that HIS love tries to sneak up to you in many different ways at times.
