Match Box Projects
We leave New York tomorrow to head back to Australia.
We are having an impromptu get together tonight from 9pm-11.30 pm. It is BYO drinks. (there is a corner store 2 doors up). Your friends are welcome too.
We are inviting all that can make it to bring along something light and small for one of our time capsules (pic...tured) . (Theme is New York 2009) All items must be suitable for international travel (eg no food, soil, broken glass, liquid, sharp edges) and something you think that will last for at least 30 years. Please do not include anything with glitter or confetti or similar medium )
(if you don't have anything - just bring yourself and we will take a photo of you!)
Nearest metro station is East Broadway (F train)
Nearest corner is Clinton St
There is a deli/corner store on the corner of East Broadway and Clinton St - the space is 2 doors down

Run by visual artists, curators and writers, Sydney’s Artist Run Initiatives (ARIs) range from galleries, art spaces and residencies to publications and temporary events. They support the work of local and international contemporary artists, taking you directly to the source of the city’s most cutting-edge artistic out...put.
Join us and Contempo on a walking tour to a handful of Sydney’s Surry Hills and Redfern ARIs. Meet the artists behind each gallery/art space and view their current projects/exhibitions. This will be followed by afternoon tea and an insight to Match Box Galleries – the project which inspired us to create our Sydney ARI Guide and tours. Meet a diverse range of local artists and curators who will introduce work they have created for Match Box Galleries, including Adam Hill, Lucy Barker and ½ doz.
