Jack Coder Vividly remeber seeing The Vidablue for the first time, there are few times I recall music moving me like that.

Matthew Moody i had a dream about you last night. I was at some show.... the show seemed very important. I saw you and all i could do was give you a hug. I wish i knew how to tell you what you meant to me and so many others. It was only a dream, but it doesn't feel like it was only a dream. . ...... .

Don Davis If he were alive, Matt would be 33 years old today. A young brother that refused to be domesticated or intimidated. A fine man, and a great son.

Katrina Benning Oh Matt! You blessed our lives for such a short time. Thank you for how you changed so many lives. You will never be forgotten.

Kasey Harrison I had never gotten to meet Matt in person, but let me say that what I've heard in his music has influeced me in every way possible, and I've also heard some pretty sweet stories from people who were around him during his life time. Ten Grand(or Vida Blue) is some of the most emotional music I've ever had the privledge ...of hearing, thank you for blessing me with the gift of your music and bringing joy to those who were around you. *Bear hug*

Christopher Leaman I will never forget meeting you and how down to earth you were. Your band played at my house..The freedom house..When you first got there i was stoked to show you my cd collection. We talked for quit a bit. Then your band kept playing our house with william elliot whitmore.. late night bbqs.. It was all about friendsh...ip and love of music and love of friends..which equals family in my book.. Also saw you a couple months before you passed away. And i am forever pissed that i didnt get to talk to you longer that day. At least i got a big hug before i went to work... thanks for being so awesome. And giving me hope...

Juliet R. Santos matt...i dont know you.....but as I read comments about you.....I know you've been such a wonderful person.....wished I know you before...

Ed I never got to meet matt d, but from what everybody tells me, he was the man. his jams have had and continue to have a very very large influence on me, and playing with his brother dan has been some of the best times yet. thanks matt for everything, especially for influencing your brother so hard. i think maybe i kind of know you through him.

Matthew Moody i miss you matt. i wouldn't be the person i am without your advice and friendship.

Christopher Trenary I miss this guy. Big time. Nothing like his big heart, killer hugs and stinky dreads.

Elizabeth Ann Adkins-Hernandez Matt used to babysit my wee little Alex when we lived in the same apartment building on Court street in Iowa City, Every young single mom needs a break, not only would Matt care for my boy, but I would come home to a empty sink and a bunch of clean dishes!!! Not to mention all of the sweetest mix tapes EVER! I am bles...sed to have known him! He had so many wonderful, selfless gifts! He will remain close to my heart.

Julie Cornett Two memories of a young Matt. First, Terry and I teaching him in Bible club when he was around 5. He was so smart, but he never made any of the kids feel inferior. He was so humble. Second, I remember at the ranch playing soccer against him (still around 5). He beat me badly. Love his smile in the photo.
