- Matthew Lloyd (Melbourne, 24 may 1983) is an Australian cyclist, who rides for Silence-Lotto. Matthew started with cycling in 2003, before that he was an icehockey player.
His biggest succes so far is being the Australian Champion in 2008. Matthy is a talented climber, who allready gave proof of his talent in Giro and Vuelta. The team and real fans believe dat Matthy will make a big step in 2009 that will result in good GC for him and the team leader and some wins... (read more)

Matthew Lloyd Matthew is again in competition after his fall. He recovered very fast and starts today in 'Dauphiné Libéré" in France.
Matthew Lloyd I think everybody saw the awfull fall of Matthew in the Amstel. He has several fractures and will be out of competition for quite a while. We wish him all the best recovery and hope to see him as soon as possible on the bike !
Matthew Lloyd Matthew is racing now in the 'Vuelta Pais Vasco'. He's getting in shape for the ardennes, today he ended 19th in the first chasing group in a stage won by Contador before Cadel Evans. A good result and we can be confident for the next stages and La Fleche
