Maury County Fire Department is now responding to a cardiac arrest on Reece Church Rd. MCFD is providing EMT's to assist EMS with patient care.
Maury County Fire Department responded to an MVA at Tom J Hitch Pkwy and Iron Bridge Rd at about 9:30 am today. Responding units included Rescue 1, Engine 1, and POV's. Units found a three vehicle MVA with one patient trapped. Units were able to free the patient without the use of hydraulic tools. One patient was flown to Vanderbilt from the scene.
Maury County Fire Department is proud to announce that we have released a Request For Proposal for construction of the South Maury County Fire Station to be built in the Cherry Glenn Business Park. You may find a copy of the RFP on our website @ maurycountyfire.org. This building will be constructed with funds that were willed to the department and money from our annual fundraiser.

Maury County Fire Department responded to a house fire with a child burnt on Lasea Rd. Responding units included Engines 1 and 7, Tanker 1, an Asst Chief, and a District Chief. Upon arrival units found three burn victims with one critical. Units peformed an interior attack and confined the fire to one room. Lifeflight performed a scene flight. Maury County Fire Department is proud to announce that the Bethel District has officially closed on 1.6 acres of land located at the intersection of Skelley Rd & Leipers Creek. District Chief Jerry Earwood estimates construction to start on the new building in early spring and that the building is in the final planning stages. Maury County Fire Department responded to an MVA rollover today on Baker Rd. Responding units included R1 and POV's. Arriving units found a one vehicle rollover into a tree with one patient trapped. R1 removed the rear window in order to gain access to the patient. The patient was removed throught the rear window.
