Mazda at Targa 2009 Targa Tasmania has come to a close. Brendan Reeves in his Mazda3 MPS has finished third in the Showroom Competition while the RX-8 SP of Steve Glenney and Bernie Webb finished 10th in the Modern Competition. Stay tuned for a full report later today.
Mazda at Targa 2009 Reports are that there has been a serious accident on Queenstown stage. The road is still closed so the media team are stuck in Queenstown. No more info at this stage but it does not involve one of the Mazda factory cars. Lets hope all are ok.

In 2009 Mazda Australia makes a three-pronged attack on the world's gruelling tarmac rally, Targa Tasmania. Mazda Motorsport has readied twin Mazda3 MPS rally cars and a turbocharged Mazda RX-8 SP for the 2000km event that runs from April 28-May3.
