Alex Franz netted 14 points to lead four players in double figures and key an 83-56 victory for 20th-ranked St. Mary's (Md.) over McDaniel in the 2009 Pride of Maryland Tournament on Friday.
April Sparkman recorded a double-double with 15 points and 15 rebounds to lead York (Pa.) to a 63-54 victory over McDaniel in the opening game of the Messiah/Wingate Hotel Invitational on Friday.

Kevin Curley has seen increasing success over his first two years at the helm of the team. A year ago, Curley guided his team to an appearance in the Centennial Conference semifinals.

Brock Glotfelty improved to 9-0 on the young season, going 5-0 with a pair of pins to win the heavyweight title and lead McDaniel at the Ursinus Fall Brawl on Saturday.
Ursinus won seven of the first nine events competed behind 10 different victors for a 59-35 win over McDaniel on Saturday.
David Yazbeck and Scott Paine each recorded a pair of individual victories to lead Ursinus to a 51-43 victory over McDaniel on Saturday. The Bears took first in seven of the first nine events.
Roxanne Fleischer finished 85th overall in a time of 24:10.1 to lead McDaniel to a 31st-place finish at the 2009 NCAA Division III Mideast Regional meet on Saturday. The Green Terror recorded 906 points.

Taylor Herrgott and Sara Hanlon have been named to the All-Centennial Conference volleyball team. Herrgott was named to the second team while Hanlon earned an honorable mention nod.
