Operation Santa – October 1-23
Operation Santa is a program that we are helping support. The program runs from October 1 – 23. A drop box will be in our lobby to donate items such as snack bars, hand warmers, hot chocolate mix, paperback books and more (visit http://marinecorpsfamilyfoundation.org/S tockingStufferList....html for a complete list).
A recent question was raised about what to get for the women soldiers. They wear the same type of socks the men do so men’s crew socks will work but you might get some smaller sizes, too. The women soldiers always want things that smell nice such as hair gels and shampoos and just “girl” stuff. Women’s magazines and good romance/mystery/fiction novels are appreciated, too! Journals and pens for both men and women make a great donation as well.
In addition, the McMinnville Fire Department will donate 100% of their proceeds raised at their Annual Pancake Breakfast (Sunday, October 11, 7 AM to 1 PM) to benefit Troop Support and Operation Santa.
For each $5.00 cash donation, Movietime will give one free 7-night rental!
There will be a Care Package Packing Party on Saturday Oct 24th at 10am at Linfield College in Riley 201. If you are interested in participating in this, please contact Lisa McKinney at (971) 237-5504 or email lmckinn@linfield.edu. They could use the help!
This is a wonderful way to support our troops! Please join us in supporting Operation Santa!Read More

Movietime Video A new customer this week was so excited that we carried a movie that her friend told her she would never find anywhere in McMinnville. "I found it at Movietime!" needs to be our new tag line. A huge THANK YOU to all of you who already know that and do what you can to spread the word!!! You all make us who we are.
