Catherine My worst customer service has repeatedly been with Comcast. Once so bad during a move that I wrote a two page letter to the Vice President in Philadelphia. But also just this week. I lost home internet service last week and it took 7 days, 3 service technicians, 4 phone calls, 4 Twitter CS reps, and an email. I will sa...y that all the people were nice and friendly, but the one hand didn't know what the other hand was doing. The phone reps would say it was a bad modem when I knew it wasn't. They wanted me to go to the store and swap out modems. Why? So I can be inconvenienced only to come home and plug in a new modem that wouldn't work either? It had to do with their lines. Just like they've changed the system so that everyone will need cable boxes and so we are supposed to go and pick up cable boxes at their stores. Why should I be inconvenienced for a change they made? Deliver or ship the boxes! Anyway, they lost my business after this last straw.

food was delicious. The waitress was so
personable that I felt like she should just pull over a chair and join us!

The worst shop was a termite inspection company. The salesman was 1 1/2 hours late for ...his
appointment with me without so much as a phone call. I knew I didn't have termites but the salesman insisted that I
did and was pushy in his sales technique to scare me into buying a $1K termite
blitz.

Carol Villanova-Dailey My worst shopping experience was just recently. I had to do automobile shop and rate the salesman's skills at selling a car. Never in my life have I experienced such laziness apathetic behavior. Maybe this salesman had just made a killing with the governtments program on Clunkers because he certainly failed trying to s...ell me car. Car salesmen usually explain every detail of a car. At first I thought, well maybe he is not an experience salesman. But than on his desk he had all these rewards for over ten years. I just couldn't believe it. I had to ask him probing questions to get responses from him. I was dressed professionally and ready to buy. But this guy wasn't ready to sell.

Sue Brantley ~~~~~~Worst Shopping Experience -
I was dressed casually and entered a local high-end fabric store to purchase upholstery fabric. I was never greeted despite there being 3 sales associates on the floor. In fact, the associates pointedly ignored me but greeted other customers who entered after me even though I was obviou...sly seeking assistance. After browsing for 10 minutes I left the store having never been acknowledged though I made eye contact with every associate.

Ella Gindin My best and worst C/S experiences both happened on my wedding day!! The limo ride to the church was great—the driver drove well, provided us with chilled wine, and got us to the ceremony early. After the wedding, a different driver picked us up to take us to the airport for our Bahamas honeymoon. Halfway there, the ...police pulled the limo over for expired tags. The driver flew into a rage, and ended up getting arrested for disorderly conduct. A tow truck ended up hauling the limo, and the police agreed to drive us only to the nearest bus stop. In the chaos, we forgot to retrieve our suitcases from the limo’s trunk. What’s worse is we ended up missing the flight AND the vacation, as my husband purchased non-refundable package tickets for both the flight and the all-inclusive resort.

Lori DeVoe My worst experience is when I went to a buffet with my son and his girlfriend and the service we received. The server was rude, did not check on us and when we received the check they added gratuity. When I inquired why, I was told that because they are afraid when 'teenagers' dine in they might make a mess and leave n...ot tip. I told the server, that is fine, but you should not assume. "This is my son and his girlfriend." The server/manager apologized, but the damage was already done.
This is the second time I have received this kind of disrespect. Because of this and what I experienced, I knew that by being a mystery shopper I could help other customers not experience the same service.

Christy Tinder My worst experience was one that actually made me become a mystery shopper. I went to a small retail store. When I walked in the door both employees on duty looked at me like I had the plague. They acted discusted that I was there. Neither of them acknowleged my existance while I was shopping. So, I just got what I wen...t in there to get and left as quickly as possible. When I approached the counter I apparently interupted their conversation about their "intimate" lives. I waited in line for 5 minutes before one of them came over to wait on me. Finally they did and I left the store. I later called back and spoke with the manager and was told that I was not the first customer to complain about their actions. The manager sent me a personal letter of appoligy and asked me to come to the store so the girls could appolilgize as well. I later found out that they were both terminated. And I made the decision that I would never shop at that store again.

Michele My worst experience was shopping a restaurant where I absolutely had to get the floor manager's name. I didn't see her all night, then she appeared briefly at the very end on the other side of the restaurant near the bar. I was pretending to look at the photos on the wall while I tried to read her name tag, but she kep...t facing the wrong way. As she started to go back into the kitchen, I ran in front of her and cut her off, tripping and falling in the process. But I did manage to get her name while apologizing for my clumsiness.

Karan My worst customer experience was in a high end ice cream shop. I knew I was in trouble when I approached the counter and the attendant was sitting on the countertop. Worse yet, the countertop was littered with ice cream debris and napkins. The service machines were full of old drippings on the sides. Loose change s...at by the register and was never put in the cash drawer. The attendant was snotty when speaking and made me wait 10 minutes for service. She did not hand me a receipt after paying and I watched her wad the receipt up and throw it on the floor. When I tried to find a seat to sit down I was unsuccessful as all the tables were littered with debris and ice cream drippings. The floors were sticky and the trash can was overflowing. Had I not been there on business, I probably would have called the Health Department. The only thing missing was the flies!

Paula Hall My best customer service was at an apartment complex. The leasing agent did such a good job that I almost leased the apartment I was looking at. She went out of her way to make sure that I would love being part of the community. My worst was at Spencer's. My shop was to buy something, leave without getting my chang...e or a receipt. Then I was to try and return the item. I ended up having the shopping company calling the manager who was accusing me of stealing the merchandise and trying to return it.

Veronika Guerrero Garcia It started as my worst customer service experience then it changed to my Best!! I went to a retaurant with my husband and two small children, waited 30 minutes for our drinks! Then about an hour for our food! This was a weekday. Even after speaking to the manager, we waited longer. My kids were unusually patient after ...the long waiting but very hungry. After dinner, the manager handed me the bill with a ZERO balance! Hurray!!

Kimberly Sharp My worst customer service experience was in Terre Haute IN at a restaraunt. We were halfway through our dinner when the waitress came to refill our drinks. She was refilling a friends drink when she bumped the glass and knocked it on her lap. She was so flustered that she then tipped the pitcher and it poured almost th...e entire pitcher down her top. The waitress apologized repeatedly and my friend told her that it was ok, it was an accident. Then she brought the bill and charged her for the entire dinner and drinks even though none of us got to finish our meals.

Angela Edwards Waller My worst customer service was with Dave & Busters in Columbus, Ohio. Right behind our booth was a mouse glue board with a LIVE baby mouse on it. A waiter took a towel, covered the glue board and took the trap out of the dinning area. Most of the waitstaff came by to look where the trap was during our meal. I was curio...us as to what everyone was looking at and my husband asked our waiter what was going on. The waiter made a big joke about the mouse and stated that they had a mouse problem. My husband couldn't eat his dinner after finding this out (I didn't know about the mice yet) and when the waiter asked if everything was okay, my husband said no. The waiter said, I understand and still charged us full price for the meal. YUCK!!
