Medicine on the Edge In 2003 Geoff Ramin led a group of his friends to Kokoda for what turned out to be an incredible trip on what has to be one of the world's greatest trails. MOTE is planning a conference on the Kokoda Trail in 2010 and these photos should give you some idea of what to expect.

In 2010 join the MOTE team in the beautiful Italian Dolomites for a unique conference program. The dates are the 9th - 16th January 2010, the venue is Campitello and the skiing will be magnificent...
The 2nd Altitude and Expedition Medicine Meeting which is being held in Cusco and on The Inca Trail later this year is now fully booked with over 50 delegates participating in the meeting and then heading onto Macchu Picchu via the Salcantay and Inca Trails.
Medicine on the Edge This meeting presented a range of topics in Paediatric Emergency Medicine and Critical Care that were targeted to be of interest to Emergency Physicians, Paediatrcians, General Practitioners, Nurses, Paramedics and Medical Students. This was a great example of high quality education combined with access to two of Canada's great ski resorts.
Medicine on the Edge
One of our earlier training programs was conducted through one of our parent companies, International Medical Systems. Dr Geoff Ramin was invited to develop and conduct a training program for all doctors in Hong Kong who were being recruited to their civilian based aeromedical retrieval service. The course was a great ...success and Geoff repeated the program in Hong Kong on another two occasions over a four year period with the assistance of Dr Stephen Rashford and Dr Paul Bowe.

Medicine on the Edge This meeting started with a two-day workshop held in Arusha and continued over the next four evenings in our campsites as we ascended the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro . The meeting was a great success with 100% of participantsreaching the summit of Africa.
