Megan Chance There is nothing quite like watching "New Moon" with a theater full of tweens and teenagers. I don't think I was ever that giggly and breathless. Not even for David Cassidy.

Megan Chance Tonight I'm going to see La Traviata at the Seattle opera--one of the benefits (or downsides, depending upon how you look at it) of researching opera for "Prima Donna" was that I grew to really, really like it. It's hard to resist such out and out melodrama for pure entertainment and pathos.
Megan Chance I think a plot may have come to me last night. Not sure yet. These are elusive creatures; it may take me a while to catch it.
Megan Chance Reading "Banquet at Delmonico's" by Barry Werth about the impact of the theory of evolution on American culture in the 19th C. What has this to do with the new book I'm researching, you may ask? I don't know ... yet. Stay tuned.
