When I was about 8 years old and then found myself reading them again many times later , same with the movies I׳m 27 now and still didn't come across a movie that I enjoyed as much as these movies , istill watch the movies from time to time such... a special period of time , I tought I was the only one who felt that way.. People have to grow up someday and move forward professionally and personally...In my opinion, she has been typecast as "Anne" her whole life, she can act in whatever capacity she wishes! Anne of Green Gables was first and foremost a series of novels by L.M.Montgomery, not a creatio...n of Sullivan productions and played solely by Megan Follows, the decisions of her personal career choices should not detract from the magic of the novels.

Donna my heart is broken for this decision you have made,to take this role in this play, I can't beleive you would do this just to have a part in a play, sometimes compromise is not good. You were my favorite actress of all time, I adored Anne Of Green Gables, now I will not be able to ever watch Anne with the same eyes agai...n=[ Goodbye Megan Goodbye Anne, Goodbye Gil I was just beginning to introduce my granddaughter to Anne but not now you Anne nor I are no longer kindred spirits.

some people have strong moral convictions & it is not up to you to tell me I can't disagree with the role she has choosen. Megan could have played anything but to choose a part which offends me, and what I believe. Yes she can choose to play whatever character she chooses, but I choose to depart. I don't agree with the play at all. It's sad that she would take on a role like this, but, she is just acting. Who knows, maybe she's doing it for the money. I don't think so though. I pray for her. I hope maybe she will come to an understanding that she's not giving a good impression.
