Meg's Threads Getting ready for class with the lovely ladies tonight. Today they will begin to sew their first seam together. Yesterday I had fun making a bag out of hems! Will put pics up when finished.

This weekend I think that I might take the kids down to the Melbourne Meccano Exhibition in Brighton to provide them with a little inspiration for their project. I love meccano. The way it does up. The metal. The amazing things that you can make with it. Yay!

Meg's Threads today...redo pattern piece that went missing with last terms class, make copies of the pattern for ALL participants this time, finish off the new drawings for the pattern instructions, scan, insert, copy...breath...teach...Hurrah! I love last minutes, I work so much faster!

Meg's Threads Kids sewing classes done...7 bags made - ish... really needed those 10 weeks - however, we laughed, they sang high school musical songs, giggled, stressed about the colours, sewed the wrong sides together, unpicked, unpicked again, laughed and we all had a good time. I think I am going to miss my Tuesday afternoons with them
