Joseph Hettel

Joseph Hettel it's amazing that with all the channels I get with Direct TV, Food Network has some of the best programming of them all. Who ever would have thought that a Food Network Channel could have such good competitive shows such as Chopped; Next Iron Chef; and of course the show that you won , The Next Food Network Star.

Heather Melissa! My sister and I are huge fans of yours! We were rooting for you the whole time on The Next Food Network Star... and you have inspired me so much as a self-taught cook shooting for the stars! :) Thank you!

Lori I have pies, bread/rolls, jello salad, and cranberries to do today. I am just waiting until my two under two are napping...my five year old can help me in the kitchen. I am using the pie crust recipe from your potato-bacon torte...it is the only pie crust recipe I have ever made that wasn't screwed up! My husband thanks you for that! :)

Melissa d'Arabian Confessions of a Food Network Star on a major deadline for work -- I have not started anything for Thanksgiving tomorrow (not even a shopping list!), and I have a ton of work left to finish today for Ten Dollar Dinners season two. I even...gasp....checked out restaurant reservations. But no.....I will make this work,... and I will not "overdo" it. anyone is the same boat this year?

Jody Sauls Pie Crust Question: I love your pie crust and am wondering if I could make it a few days ahead and then leave it in the Zip Lock bag until I am ready to put the pies together and bake them. I am trying to do as much as I can ahead of time this week so that Thursday is not so hectic. If you have time, even a "yes" or... "no" answer would be so helpful.

yes, but it may dry out a tad. better yet...roll it out, put it in the pan and then freeze it. or roll it out and store it flat in a resealable plastic bag. or make the entire pie and freeze the whole thing and then just heat for 45 minutes on 325.
