Memphis Athletic Ministries (MAM)
Twelve middle school students with their pastor Jarrett McLelland from the Saturday Night Student Ministry Group of Fellowship Bible Church spent their spring break working at the MAM Grizzlies Center. The students worked at the golf course, play ball with the MAM kids and shared their testimonies during MAM devotion ...time. The Arkansas kids also enjoyed touring the city and visiting the National Civil Rights Museum. Plans are to return to Memphis this summer and continue building relationships.

Every day with over 600 kids visiting our six gyms, it is easy to see why our volunteers are so vital to achieving MAM’s mission. By modeling Christ, our volunteers make it possible for each child to feel loved and welcomed in a safe, secure environment.

RECENT ACTIVITY
Memphis Athletic Ministries (MAM) The 2008 MAM Christmas Classic raised approximately $20,000 for the MAM Academic All Stars program. The major sponsor of this year's MAM Classic was Juice Plus+. Presenting sponsors were Morgan Keegan and Company, Federal Express, and the Memphis Grizzlies. Flinn Broadcasting was the media sponsor. We also want to thank the 137 teams who participated in this year's tournament.
Memphis Athletic Ministries (MAM) Rudy Gay, the Memphis Grizzlies, and Sam's Club sponsored a shopping trip for 100 of our MAM families on December 18, 2008. Rudy generously gave $350 gift cards to each family to spread the joy of Christmas.
